Outside the park is a

recreation and picnic area on the shore of Lake Cania, 11 km north of the national park,  popular for water sports, fishing and swimming.

Cania Gorge National offers gorges, towering cliffs, caves an a variety of wildlife. There are several walks from 1 - 6 km.
